G-Star RAW has launched its latest SS19 brand campaign, which inspires and highlights unique personalities, with the confident message, “It’s you. Own it.” Bold, raw and empowering, the global denim innovator has collaborated with two of South Africa’s stars – actress, TV personality and radio host Nomalanga Shozi and multimedia visual artist Trevor Stuurman – to be the faces of the South Africa campaign.
The campaign speaks to the outspoken, the confident, and the ones who do not just follow pre-established rules. It is about individuality and innovation – two characteristics the brand embodies. Shozi and Stuurman are the perfect multi-talented individuals to capture the campaign messaging. Both are outspoken advocates for individuality.
They are champions for South African culture and heritage. And they stand out, Shozi the face of BET TV at the tender age of 23 and with Stuurman an internationally acclaimed visual artist.
