Pheli Hosts Event to Benefit Local Artists

The 27th of April 2019 will mark the day when Atteridgeville hosts the 1st Annual Bottles & Shandis event. This event aims to highlight the importance of townships creating a platform for revelers from different areas to gather and enjoy a quality event with entertainment from local DJs and artists.

The event will be hosted at one of the popular parks in the Atteridgeville area, Moroe Park. Entertainment varies from performances to DJ sets. Revelers from various walks of life will be entertained by the likes of DJ Tsitso, Vettis, Mapentane, 25K, Team Delela and many more. Festivities are scheduled to start at 12pm till 2am on 28 April 2019. Tickets can be obtained at Computicket outlets and also at the gate on the day of the event. One of the organisers, Thabo Matloa says:

“The event’s concept was birthed from events such as Pop Bottles. The aim is to bring the concept to the township and empower the community by having a local line-up.”

Matloa indicated that security will be available at the event and safety is at the core of the festivities. Food stalls will be available and the organising team promises to accommodate disabled revelers. The first 200 revelers will get seating in the general section.
