The new Volvo XC40 has been announced as a finalist in the 2019 AutoTrader South African Car Of The Year. In this year’s competition for the coveted title, Volvo Cars SA is contending with other automotive manufacturers.
The finalists were compiled with input from the buying public who were encouraged to vote for the winning car manufacturer through the AutoTrader page and judged based on a number of categories including the technology, engineering, and sales of the vehicles amongst other things.
The Volvo XC40 is one of the leading finalists announced on Tuesday, 20 November at an exclusive event held at The Garden Venue in Northriding, Johannesburg. The car has become a favourite amongst South Africans for its unique features such as safety, infotainment and proudly Scandinavian design.
