After receiving widespread success of her mixtape Versus in 2017 which she dropped for her fans and following that up with sizzling videos for songs BumBum and Getting Cash; young Mabreezus aka rapper Moozlie has released her latest single to show off her hometown glory and relive some of the memories she holds from her Benoni upbringing in the song Vatel.
The new single set for release on 22 June 2018 on Apple Music from her label Nomuzi Mabena Music, showcases Moozlie’s signature rap flow alongside industry friend Kid X. The two rappers share a musical history, as Moozlie first debuted lyrically on Kid X’s single SE7EN – launching her rap career in the SA music scene. Both Moozlie and Kid X have recently featured on a variety of projects with other artists including Solo and Ma-E.
This body of work derived from her childhood memory, lets fans in on a little more about the rap queen –
“I really love this song! Writing it really took me down memory lane and so I’m excited for everybody to get to know the people & places I hold close to my heart.” – Moozlie
Equally amped up to have shared the studio again with Kid X, Moozlie had this to say about the feature:
“As always X was a real pleasure to work with. From the beginning of my music career he has been extremely supportive, and I’ve learned so much from him over the years. There’s no way I could have done my album without him.” – Moozlie
Moozlie drops her single on 22 June 2018 as the lead to her debut highly anticipated debut album Victory, set to be released end of July 2018.
