World Class Cocktail Week to Shake Things Up at the 2017 Whisky & Spirits Live Festival

Whether you’re a whisky, vodka or gin fan, there’s always a great buzz when spirit lovers gather under one roof. At this year’s prestigious Whisky & Spirits Live Festival, Diageo’s Reserve portfolio will launch World Class Cocktail Week in South Africa, where guests will have the honour of being hosted by Diageo’s Global Brand Ambassador Donald Colville.

Diageo Reserve, renowned for delivering luxury brand experiences locally and abroad, has partnered with 8 top venues across Johannesburg to bring a food pairing component to elevate the drinking experience. These venues include exclusive hotels Da Vinci and The Maslow Hotel as well as top Johannesburg restaurants; Gemelli, Marble, The Landmark, Milk & Honey and Social Kitchen. These leading venues will partake in the World Class Cocktail Week where cocktail enthusiasts will get to learn and experience the art of cocktail making like never before.

Championing the launch experience will be Diageo’s global brand ambassador, Donald Colville who together with Reserve brand Ambassadors, graces our shores to host Whisky appreciation and Cocktail Masterclasses on how to create world class experiences Whisky & Spirits Live. Consumers who want to bring a bit of a luxe experience to their own private ‘get togethers’ will benefit from these sessions, where they will learn how to host a canape and cocktail evening using Diageo’s premium spirits to create unforgettable cocktails.

With more than 10 000 people expected to attend the annual event, Diageo Reserve Portfolio will bring forward luxury World Class spirits such as Ketel One Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, Bulleit Bourbon, Cardhu Single Malt Whisky, Ron Zacapa rum and Tanqueray no. 10 Gin.
