Kotex® South Africa recently took home second coolest feminine hygiene product in 2017 at the Generation Next Awards, solidifying itself as a brand growing in popularity amongst the youth within the country.
The Generation Next Awards, took place on the 11th May 2017 at the Sandton Convention Centre. This saw a number of celebrities, brand ambassadors and the youth come out in their numbers to support their favourite brands.
The awards are based on a survey conducted annually by the Sunday Times. The survey, which began in 2004, keeps track of how the youth interact with and respond to brands and is viewed as the leading annual youth brand preference and consumer behaviour survey in the country. It polls over 12000 youths aged between 8 to 23.
Kotex® South Africa was voted the second coolest feminine hygiene product in 2017 by the youth who participated in the survey and also headline sponsored the Generation Next Youth Marketing Conference and Awards. The Youth Marketing Conference saw a number of influences and key speakers address those in attendance on subjects like, youth entrepreneurship, digital and social media as well as future tech trends to name a few. After the conference attendees made their way through to the interactive activation section and then through to the glittering awards ceremony.
