Joyous Celebration 21 on Heal Our Land Countdown

The biggest Easter celebration is upon us. The sensational, internationally acclaimed Gospel Music Powerhouse, MTN Joyous Celebration, returns to Carnival City on 14 – 16 April for its 21st instalment, to enchant the audiences with performances that will leave them spiritually fulfilled.

The much-anticipated album, which was jointly and prayerfully recorded with The Potter’s House was released on 7 April, and has already hit Gold status. This comes as no surprise, as the ensemble is renowned for its consistent delivery of quality and upliftment of the nation’s spirits. The DVD will be at music stores nationally on 14 April 2017. Pastor Jabu Hlongwane, Founder, says:

“As we celebrate our 21st anniversary, we look back at how it all began! What started as a show to thank the Almighty for a peaceful transition into the new South Africa, has now become the annual spectacle that South Africans and neighbouring countries look forward to partaking in. We thank the nation for placing us in this stead. This year we are calling for one voice, and the chanting of one message: ‘Heal our Land’.”

As a call to the nation, to live this message of healing our land, each show will be opened with an invocation by men of the cloth from churches in our communities. Apostle Jannie Ngwale of The Conquerors through Christ Ministries in Atteridgeville will set the tone for the Friday evening show. On 15 April, Bishop Freddy Edwards from Perfecting Church International in Industria – Johannesburg will call for the collective voice to heal our land, while Pastor Mathebula of Hope Restoration Ministries in Chloorkop will be ushering the healing and thanksgiving on the last day of the Carnival City run.
